SACKit's vision of the ultimate outdoor chair led to a partnership with Scancastor, leveraging our expertise in sustainable manufacturing. The goal was to create Patio Chair No. One - a chair that would redefine outdoor comfort with a sustainable twist.
The design process was collaborative, focusing on the chair's ability to withstand outdoor elements while maintaining a timeless aesthetic. Scancastor's engineering team worked tirelessly to ensure that the chair design would be both durable and elegant.
Prototyping was essential to achieve the perfect balance between form and function. The prototypes were thoroughly tested to ensure that the recycled plastic material was not only UV stabilized to prevent fading, but also strong enough to withstand the elements. After the final approval of the prototype, the injection molding tool was finalized.
The injection molding process was carried out with precision at the Scancastor factory and recycled plastic was used to shape the chair's distinctive curves and ergonomic design. Each chair was an expression of quality and environmental responsibility.
Once the design was finalized and the materials tested, mass production began. Scancastor's commitment to sustainability was evident in every chair produced, ensuring that the Patio Chair was not just a product, but part of a larger eco-friendly initiative.
Scancastor did not stop at production. We took responsibility for the entire supply chain, assembling the final chairs and managing distribution from our warehouse in Denmark, ensuring a seamless process from production to delivery.

We supply standard components directly from our large warehouse in Toreby on Lolland, but also help many of our customers with everything from design, development, construction, production and suplly chain solutions of new products.
